Avi Perry's 72 Virgins

You decide for yourself, but if you're into the Sidney Sheldon books, Avi Perry's 72 Virgins is BETTER, because it is timely and there is a LOT of truth in this novel.

In a world of political correctness gone mad (but no guts  to admit it ) , 72 Virgins is HONEST plus exciting reading. It isn't the CRAP you will read that YOU VERY WELL KNOW isn't true -- but it's more like the Honest Reporting of novel writing. I think that Avi Perry should go on writing novels that are as raw and real. Truth is that we no longer live in a SANE world and yet, very few people choose to ignore the madness and prefer to pretend that everything is alright-- or will be alright,when it REALLY isn't. That's exactly why I recommend 72 Virgins so that people can sift through the "acceptable crap" to reality -- and ironically, Avi Perry tells us reality through his fictional novel. Beats CNN and BBC reportage :)

What prompts me to recommend this book is a conversation I was constrained to have during of my Christmas visits with a friend. My friend has a couple of "Muslim guests" which made me exceedingly wonder what they were doing joining some Christmas Holiday party. It was difficult for me to imagine them singing something like "Star of wonder, star of night... " or even wishing me something like "Peace on earth, goodwill to mankind.." Okay, we KNOW they do NOT wish goodwill to ALL MANKIND (or womankind!) Nevertheless, the party went on and these "brethren" (ehem!ehem!) who also believed in Jesus anyway (aha! aha! aha! unlike those pesky Jews huh??? ) were THERE and I felt frankly uncomfortable because I have the least  penchant for hypocrisy. In short, I wanted to feign insanity and do something like declaring something GOOD about the ROAST PORK..yah get those moods don't you?

Oh yes, particularly if you live in the UK.... or any part of Europe where we all very well KNOW (but can't say) that these "moderate" Islamics would go CRAZY over a cartoon. Fortunately, I do not live in the UK lest I would probably be arrested for stalking Pat Condell. 

Thus, Avi Perry's book -- 72 VIRGINS -- comes at a time when we all should realize that something worst that global warming or the 2004 tsunami may be coming IF we do not face REALITY.... Read Avi Perry's BOOK.. a real page turner!
